Ember Drift
A couch-and-online racing title in Unreal 5 — 60fps on Switch, cross-play matchmaking we still run.
From our workshop on Albion Street, DreamEmberScript.ink ships Unity and Unreal titles, wires up the cloud infrastructure behind them, and hardens it against attack — one accountable team from prototype to launch day.

We keep game craft, infrastructure, and security under the same roof so nothing gets lost in a handoff. Every engagement starts with a fixed-scope discovery sprint before we quote the build.

Full production for PC, console, and mobile — gameplay systems, multiplayer netcode, tools pipelines, and console certification prep. We work in fortnightly milestones with a playable build at the end of every one.

The live-ops backbone behind a shipped title: dedicated game servers, matchmaking, CI/CD, monitoring, and 24/7 on-call. We manage your AWS or GCP footprint and keep launch-day traffic from taking you down.

Independent security work for studios and IT teams — anti-cheat review, penetration testing, source-code audits, and IRAP-aligned hardening. You get a prioritised report and a fix-it session with the engineer who ran the test.

We stay deliberately lean so the people who scope your project are the ones who build it. Here is where that has landed us.

Feedback from the studio leads and IT managers we have worked alongside.
They took Ember Drift from a messy prototype to a certified Switch release in eight months, and they still run our matchmaking. No drama, just weekly playable builds.

Our launch weekend spiked to 40k concurrent players and the backend never blinked. The on-call engineer messaged me before I even noticed the traffic.

The penetration test report was blunt and genuinely useful — ranked by risk, with a fix-it call included. We closed every critical before ranked season opened.

We are a two-person indie and they treated us like it mattered. The Steam Deck verification and save system they built just worked out of the box.

They migrated our whole studio IT to a managed setup without a single lost workday. Onboarding a new artist is now a ten-minute job.

Straight-talking, fixed the scope up front, and hit every milestone. The discovery sprint alone saved us from building the wrong thing.

If your question is not here, call the studio or send a note and we will get back within one business day.
No. Roughly half our work is game development, and the rest is managed infrastructure and cybersecurity for teams whose products are not games at all. The same engineers who keep game backends alive are comfortable running a general SaaS or corporate IT environment.
Almost everything begins with a two-week discovery sprint from A$6,500. We map the scope, risks, and architecture, then hand you a fixed quote for the build. If you go ahead, the discovery fee is credited against the first milestone, so you are never paying twice.
You do — completely. Source lives in your repositories, cloud accounts stay in your name, and we hand over full documentation at the end of every engagement. We are happy to keep running things for you, but you are never locked in.
Yes. We are set up for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch submissions and handle certification prep, TRC/XR compliance, and store setup as part of a production engagement. We will flag platform requirements during discovery so there are no late surprises.
The studio is at 65 Albion Street in Surry Hills, a few minutes from Central Station, open Monday to Friday 9am–6pm AEST. Managed-infrastructure clients also get 24/7 on-call cover for production incidents outside those hours.
Send a few lines about your project and we will reply within one business day — or drop by the Surry Hills studio if you would rather talk it through in person.
